Abji George, is a multifaceted self taught soul Singer- songwriter from Pune, he has been performing from the age of 16 and over the years has performed in various venues in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and Mysore. He was featured on couple of Sofar Sessions in Pune which was streamed Live across the global, Over the years he has a few accolades to his name, Winner of Crescendo festival Pune 2004, finalist in Vocal of Bangalore 2008 to name a few and a Finalist at the High Idols, During his days in Bangalore he was asked to record the title song for Kannada Album. His influence have been R&B, Pop, Soul, Retro, Classic rock. He was the front man from a classic rock band in Pune, Currently he is a freelance vocalist and has been performing in various A list venues such as, Hard Rock, High Spirts, Blue Frog, Beer cafe and 1 Lounge etc. He has played at various Music Festivals such as Nh7 Weekender, Sunburn, Inscape, Whatsup Fle, Farmers Markets and many more. He used to host the Brunches at Blue Frog Pune and currently performs at 1 Lounge every Sunday for the Brunch . He is currently recording for the EP which will be out soon. He believes in the mantra of singing from his soul and to spread the love via his Music.
